Goal:

Midea had an ambitious goal to aggressively launch their subsidiary brand Eureka's line of vacuums in the European market.

Challenge:

  • Lacked both a strong brand presence to drive sales and a local team to help navigate local laws and logistics.
  • First time working with Amazon VC, creating a new set of operational and workflow challenges.

Analysis:

Action:

  • On behalf of our client, we researched local governance laws and worked closely with Amazon to understand the requirements for joining Vendor Central.
  • Worked side-by-side with Midea while remaining the point of contact with Amazon to ensure that Midea not only complied but also to expedite the process, especially during the tumultuous lockdown period in China.
  • Conducted in-depth market research, including global trends and VOC analytics to help our clients define their product catalog for the specific markets they were targeting.

Results

In a matter of six months, we launched 30+ listings successfully in 3 countries (UK, DE, IT), with a different product catalog tailored to each region.
