Our client, a reputable manufacturer with a long history of manufacturing a wide assortment of home appliances for the world's biggest brands, sought our help expanding into branding and direct selling. More specifically, they needed help with:

  • Product Development
  • Branding and Marketing

For this challenge, we at Hooray tapped into all our expertise, beginning with market research to determine which category and sub category we would begin with, and then designing both the right product and brand that best aligned with our target demographic.

  • Next, we coordinated with the manufacturer to develop a realistic inventory forecast, based on historical and seasonal sales data.
  • We also established (and partly outsourced) a customer service team to handle all customer questions and issues.
  • For marketing, we established an online brand presence through social media pages, and built traffic through sharing user-generated content and partnering with KOLs.
  • Built a user repository through a warranty registration program.

Results (0-6 months):

  • Total Sales: $1.44 million (per 2 SKUs)
  • Sub Category Peak BSR: 18
  • Membership Registrations: 2400 users
